For two days each November, the founders, clinicians, investors, and operators shaping medical device, biotech, and digital health convene at Northeastern's Roux Institute on the Portland waterfront. NNEMTC is the only conference of its scale built specifically around the Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine ecosystem; with audiences and sponsors from around the country and beyond.

Reimagining Healthcare is the 2026 theme. Across keynotes, panels, breakouts, and the Pitch Competition + Innovation Showcase, the conversation centers on the macro shift toward proactive, continuous, and consumer-driven health.

The Pitch Competition.

A select group of finalists each deliver a five minute pitch followed by five minutes of Q&A from a panel of investor and operator judges; live, on stage, in front of the room. The winner takes the spotlight that comes with being named the year's most compelling early-stage medtech story.

The Innovation Showcase.

A curated floor of medical device, biotech, and digital health products being built across Northern New England, presented hands-on by the teams behind them. Walk the showcase between sessions, see what's coming next, and connect directly with the founders, engineers, and clinicians driving each product.

This is the room where supply chain partners, investors, and clinical buyers meet the next generation of devices in person. Selection is curated; participating companies are confirmed alongside the agenda each fall.
